Hoyle Poker Rules
Hoyle Poker Rules was named after Edmond Hoyle, an authority in card games who wrote a book of rules and procedures on games. Edmond Hoyle was born in Yorkshire in 1672 and died in 1769. Not much was known of him before his death.Poker was not invented until 150 years after Edmond Hoyle died. So what are Hoyle Poker Rules and why does it have to do with poker since Edmond Hoyle died 150 before poker was invented? Actually Hoyle has nothing to do with poker. It was in the 18th century when Edmond Hoyle published a book on gambling. In this book he describes about gaming and the rules and standards on a wide variety of games. Although in his book Edmond Hoyle did not describe poker, the rules of Hoyle were eventually evolved into poker.
Hoyle Poker Rules denote honesty and integrity. So whenever you heard people saying Hoyle Poker Rules, it merely demotes honesty and integrity in the game of Poker.
